Dear readers, I have returned from the Midlands.
Flight of the Conchords were fabulous. Sweet, funny, clever, cute and even took the Birmingham audience’s sheep jibes in relatively good humour! I adored them. Birmingham however I enjoyed less. Sorry to any Birmingham readers but….. Wasn’t a huge fan of the venue either. Concrete floors? Really?
We had the smallest hotel room in the world.
But, y’know, we didn’t care – we got to see Conchords!
I’ve forgotten exactly why we went to Birmingham rather than London and I was a bit miffed because we didn’t get Arj Barker for support like the Londoners did, but Eugene Mirman was actually much funnier than I thought he would be and called Birmingham a city that had “lost the cold war”.
But it did have nice bits!
And then we went home, tired but happy!
Until tomorrow dear readers.
