* Life. Yesterday Phil posted this on Twitter.
…so excited by life at the moment. Not just the wedding, but everything else to come after it. SO many things in the wings!
Now obviously I’m not getting married (I would never keep such a thing from you dear readers), but that aside when I read this tweet I thought… yeah, that’s EXACTLY how life is. I feel like I’m getting ready to go back to school, but in a good way (because school was truly awful). And at the same time I’m scared shitless. Because that’s life isn’t it? Juxtaposition and irony every step of the way. Like Marianne Williamson (and not Nelson Mandela) so famously said “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”. Amen.
* Getting back on my yoga mat after four days away from it. There’s a beautiful feeling of coming home as soon as I lie down on my mat after an unplanned break. All the tension melts away.
* Cooler nights. Admittedly I’m not jumping for joy for the approach of autumn (weatherwise at least), but I do like being able to sleep without the fan on. Cooler nights don’t cure insomnia but at least I’m comfortable in my sleeplessness.
* Planning the yoga + creativity workshop. I’m really excited about this. If you live in London come along. Details are here.
* Spam. I know it’s a hateful thing but I have an awesome spam filter plug-in called Akismet (if you have a Wordpress based blog and don’t have this plug-in, get it. Stat), which filters out all my spam comments, which means normal sane people can comment anonymously if they want but the advertisers and lunatics get filtered out. Every now and then I have a look through the spam just in case something worthwhile has got in there by mistake. It never has, which is why Akismet is so good but today I got the best spam comment ever, on this post from a “Mrs Anti-Virus”.
“I bet you wish George Bush was still president now don’t you?”
Yeah Mrs AV, sure…..
Longest “things i love thursday” ever! Apologies for the ramblings.

I think that is a great quote as well. It really makes you stop and think about why you are afraid to do something. Thank you for the spam tip, I just started my blog and get so excited when I get new comments, only to find out that most of them are spam! I will get that plug in right away.
Haha I just cleaned mine out and I also found the George Bush comment. I had this one in there too:
did you vote for obama? be honest
Gotta love those spambots…and Askimet!
