Reader’s you’ve all heard of Operation Beautiful by now right?  The phenomenon started by Caitlin to spread the love around the world by leaving random post it notes in random places telling people how beautiful they really are?

And you will also remember that in August the Operation Beautiful book came out (I was part of the virtual book tour!)

This is an amazingly uplifting book.  Reading the stories and post-its from women all over the world is nothing but inspiring.  I think Stepfanie Romine from Sparkpeople hits the nail right on the head when she says that this book is “…tea and sympathy, a kick in the pants and a pep talk from a trusted friend all in one….should be mandatory reading for women everywhere.”

* One lone red rose has suddenly appeared in the garden, oblivious to the season and giving us one lasting reminder of summer.

* My latest project – my new chili plant currently sporting several little green chilis.  And the beauty of this is they are meant to be green, so no waiting around for things to go red like some tomato plants I could mention.  Although the tomatoes are putting in a rather valiant effort and are turning orange.

*  The Inbetweeners.  Have you seen this?  It’s hilarious.  Watch it.  Of course I’m the last to catch on as always and we’re already on season three but anyway….

*  Having the time again to practice yoga as soon as I get out of bed.  Morning yoga = beautiful.

*  Curling up with a book on a grey and wet September morning (even though I should be registering at massage school… maybe later).
